Here’s a fun little project I made recently:
It’s a jewelry dish, and it’s so easy to make one yourself.
Simply roll out some paperclay with a rolling pin (actually though, I used a thick knitting needle).
You can leave your clay plain, or choose to give it some texture as I have.
I used a wonderful Chain link background stamp by Sin City Stamps.
Now, just cut it into a square.
If you want your dish to have a bit more dimension, you can roll four little balls of clay, and flatten them, then add them to each of the four corners.
Once you’ve done that, leave it out to dry, and then paint them. I used my own paint spray, but use whatever you wish.
Then, spray it with acrylic spray sealer, and it’s finished! You’ve got yourself a beautiful handmade dish to display your jewelry on for etsy photos, or the like.
