I have to confess: I LOVE bath items. I love to take lusciously long baths, with bubbles and bath salts and oils and things. It’s a thing I do. I love it. Being a mom and a blogger, artist, and everything else….it takes it’s toll on you sometimes.
Anyway the other thing that I LOVE LOVE LOVE is buying bath fizzies from LUSH. I know, I know. It’s my guilty pleasure. I can’t stand that I like it there, as I normally do pride myself in making things myself. I never made bath fizzies because I always thought they were so hard to make.
BUT thanks to our hero, Martha Stewart, I have discovered it is not.

Another cool thing you can do, that LUSH does, is add cosmetic grade glitter (called Mica) to it. You could add dried rosebuds, and lavender. Or mint. You could REALLY go to town with these. As soon as I get my hands on some Mica and Citric Acid, I PROMISE I will be making some of these. They are so cool! And what a fun gift, right? You could buy the silicone baking pans at the dollar spot at Target, and make them in fun shapes. Maybe hearts for Valentine’s Day?
Oh man. So fun!
Oh, and I found another great site that ALSO teaches you how to make these things. This site is cool also, because she kind of helps you troubleshoot any common mistakes. I love tutorials like that. Makes me feel less intimidated. You know? Click HERE for that site.
